Since the 1960s, people have been hopelessly searching for the mythical creature known as Bigfoot. Most cryptozoologists would place him in the forested expanses of the Pacific Northwest of America, perhaps even the Himalayas. We joined up with a group of people who think he may be wandering around a little closer to home

The idea that Bigfoot is not only alive, but also alive and living in the woods, parks and bus stations of Britain, is considered crankish even by some committed cryptid enthusiasts. Mainland Britain could fit into the Pacific Northwest — which has 16 national forests — three times over. It has slowly been eaten up by flyovers, new- build estates and Big Tesco. Yet most people here have seen something they couldn’t explain.
