It won’t pass, but it does show that both sides aren’t the same. It’s the correct move even if it’s just signaling.

I wasn’t implying it was a good thing, just the explanation of why they don’t get more done.
That said, they have improved a few things. It just isn’t as much as we need. Insulin, for example, is in a much better place, and that should be expanding to cover more drugs. Thr democrats are significantly better than the Republicans. They are not both the same. They just aren’t as good as we deserve.
It’s crazy because so much of the constitution is about ensuring no one is above the law, because they were trying to get away from a monarchy. Somehow this SC either can’t read or understand the constitution though because here we are.
I think it’s much more obvious that one party cares about decorum no matter what is going on.
Article 2, section 4 clear says “and all civil officers.” It specifies president and vice president likely because they were getting away from a monarchy and wanted to specify they aren’t above the law, but it clearly should apply to any federal civil officers.
Does this actually matter if the Supreme Court is ruling in the constitutionality of how accountable they are to other’s power? Probably not. This supreme court at least will always argue in favor of serving themselves. I don’t know how that plays out at that point.
New report argues for obviously needed change that probably isn’t going to happen.
And Toys R Us apparently.
If only they had desert power.
I agree totally. He’s not the best option, just the best option that’s plausible if we entertain the hypothetical that Joe isn’t running. Also, yeah it probably would piss some people off to skip Harris, so it’s probably her no matter what.
The obvious answer is Harris. The less obvious but I think better option is Buttigieg. He’s not who I would pick ideally, but I think people still remember him and he’s part of the Biden adm.
I’m pretty confident they’re running Biden unless he dies though.
The issue is appearances are all that mattered. I don’t believe anyone who was interested enough in politics to watch that debate was undecided. It’s now time for the campaigns to cut up the debate to use for ads that will actually reach the undecided voters. I feel it’s going to hurt Biden a lot more than Trump.
The perfect proof to not trust this companies if you needed it.
One huge use I can see, but isn’t being used as far as I’m aware, is data centers. They use a ton of energy, but when it turns to heat it’s only seen as a negative to expel. Why not capture it and use it to heat houses/water or something? It turns the massive energy use into effectively near zero, since heating is needed anyway in a lot of places.
The issue is it’s only terrorism when the “bad guys” do it. The word is beyond useless.
I think Trump is just an exceptionally bad politician, not that politicians are exceptionally good. Trump has no empathy and no self control. That’s what makes him bad. Biden is boring, but when next to that looks skilled. Somehow some people like Trump though and I really don’t get it.
You’re being down voted, but I want to add in that terrorism is a word used by the ruling class to tell you who to hate. When the state (usually, although this case didn’t exempt them) uses violence and fear, that’s the good kind of violence and fear. When a non-state actor uses it, it’s terrorism. The only thing that separates “justified force” from “terrorism” is if the ruling class wants you to like it or not. For example, look at what the IDF is doing. It somehow isn’t terrorism just because they’re a state who’s in favor with the ruling class?
Ah, totally misread your comment. I habitually read Z instead of X.
Yeah, it’s got lots of sugar and stuff. It feels healthy though.
As a (young) millennial, I feel like it was always called Sunny D, though the name was Sunny Delight. Is my memory wrong? I’m pretty sure it isn’t a Gen-x thing at least. It’s got to be millennials.
Don’t sell yourself short. You aren’t just a drunk, you’re the Texas drunk!
