    I’ve always thought this was a hilarious myth. “You can see the Great Wall from space because it’s really… long?”

    It’s desert-colored bricks going through a desert. Shorter, narrower, and less expansive than whole mountain ranges that still can’t be seen from space. But no, this ancient brickwork is easier to see than those. I heard it in history class.

      Teeeeechnically possible since satellites can see it, you can see it on Google Earth if you zoom reeeeeeally far in. But yeah no, visible to the naked eye? Hell no
