The game comes on seven 3.5" disks, and inside a lovely 1990s big box.
Our input device for tonight will be a Genius EasyTrak.
We start out in Zanthias laboratory, which has been ransacked. First order of the day: Find the spell book and the cauldron!
Not far, in a tree stump we find the spell book. But many pages have been ripped out! But a snake spell has survived… It might come in handy later. Also this sandwich spell maybe?
Anyway, once we found the cauldron we will have to try to get off the island. There IS a boat. But he only wants to take us if he gets some gold. We will put that on our todo list as well!
We explore a bit further and meet Marko, the slightly clingy and annoying magician-to-be. His apprentice – the HAND – seems a bit… fishy!
Inside of a cave is a sleeping mouse or rat pirate. Hmm… a pirate’s treasure might be just what we need! Those usually have gold!
We can’t get past the rat/mouse. But he is afraid of his own tail, thinking it’s a snake. Well, we can use that! Let’s make that snake potion. We can find sulfur (smell of egg) at the hot springs. There is also hot water here. The toad stool we get from Herb. And it’s NOT the mushroom. Crocodile tears are no problem if you have an onion.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention that we found the cauldron in another tree hole!
