Oh cool, telegram finally made it very clear that they are compromised at a fundamental level.
Guess it’s signal forever then.
Well, I guess I’ll be disabling my Telegram account finally. The only thing left that I was doing on it was automatic notifications from the services on my home NAS. Not sure what I’ll do instead. Maybe Matrix?

Unfortunately telegram bot API is very good.
If you’re alright with a one-off fee there’s always Pushover. I’d been using it for notifications like this. There’s also Discord, if need be just create a server for you and the bot.
Discord is allegedly going for an IPO this year.
yup, which we all knows makes the enshittification go even faster.
Not many services support those for notifications in my experience.
How did you hook those things up using Telegram?
