At this point, I think its safe to say that pixel art is my new hyper fixation, so prepare to get sick of me lol. It hasn’t been long since I started doing this, but I think I have found the resolution that I prefer. 128x128 gives the perfect balance between the pixelated style while being able to add a decent amount of details imo. My preference for software has also shifted a bit. When I started, I didn’t mind using Libresprite, but now that I’m making more complex pieces that also require a reference, I’ve gone back to Pixelorama.
